Solar Site-Map Placard
Solar Site-Map Placard
Your solar site map, engraved and ready for inspection. Upload the site plan page from your permit set and we turn it into a permanent engraved placard showing the building, the array and every disconnect, with CAUTION: MULTIPLE SOURCES OF POWER across the top.
How it works
- Choose your size and color, then upload your site plan. A PDF or SVG works best; for a DXF, AI or EPS file, contact us.
- We fit your layout to the placard and send a free digital proof within 1 business day.
- Approve the proof and we engrave it and ship it.
Your file
Send the plan page as it came from your design software. Most permit set PDFs work as they are. If all you have is a photo or a scan, contact us first and we will quote a redraw. Add your service company's phone number if your area asks for one on the directory.
The placard
- Engraved 2-ply laminate, 1/16 inch thick. The lettering is cut through the top layer, so it cannot wear off or fade like a printed sticker
- UV-stable, rated for indoor and outdoor use
- Square corners
- Adhesive backing included. Screw holes on request at no charge
- Sizes 4x4, 5x5, 6x6, 5x7, 6x8 and 8x8 inches. Larger sizes by message
- Red with white text, yellow with black text, black with white text, or white with black text
- Shows your battery or ESS disconnect too

A note on requirements
Placard requirements vary by city, utility and fire department. Check what your inspector expects before you order. We engrave exactly the layout you approve.
Shipping is charged separately. Every order gets a free proof before anything is engraved.
