NameTagsPlus is a mother-and-daughter shop in Santa Barbara, California. We are Nicole and Colleen, and between us we run every part of this: the design, the laser, the packing, and the messages you send us.
Every piece is engraved, never printed. The lettering is cut through the surface into a contrasting layer underneath, so it is part of the badge rather than a coating on top of it. It cannot smudge, peel, or wear off in a pocket, and it does not fade on a job-site dashboard.
We make two things that look unrelated and are not. On one side, name badges for nurses, stylists, realtors, teachers, servers, church teams and front desks. On the other, the panel labels, warning plates, equipment tags and QR asset tags that electricians and contractors need to pass inspection. Both are the same craft: small text that has to stay readable for years.
How we work
- We send a free digital proof before anything touches the laser on custom work. You approve it first.
- We keep your design on file. The next new hire's badge matches the team exactly, and a reorder next year is one message.
- Most orders ship in 1 to 3 business days from our Santa Barbara studio.
- Bulk and team orders are our specialty. Send us a roster and we will quote the run.
