Ordering badges for a team is mostly about collecting the right information once. Get that right and every badge comes out matching, including the ones for people you haven't hired yet. Here is how we would do it.
1. Pick one style for the whole team
- Color or brushed metal-look badges. Eight finishes: brushed gold, brushed silver, red, green, matte black, blue, white or yellow, one color per set. Our Business Name Badge Sets come in 5, 10 or 25 matching badges, from $28 for 5. In a set of 25 they work out to $5.20 a badge.
- Logo badges. Your logo engraved on the left, the name and title on the right, with no setup fee. A set of 25 with your logo is $155, and single logo badges start at $9.60.
- Metal bar badges. For hotels, clubs and front-of-house teams: an engraved brushed metal-look face on a real gold or silver metal bar. The logo version is $15.60.
2. Choose a size
1 x 3 inches fits a name and a title. With a logo, 1.5 x 3 is the sweet spot for most marks, and 2 x 3 gives a bigger logo more room.
3. Pick a font
We engrave Arial, Montserrat, Quicksand, Barlow Condensed, Georgia, Roman Small Caps, Damion and Pacifico. If you don't choose, we use Arial. Barlow Condensed is narrow, so it's the one for long names. Damion and Pacifico are scripts, engraved in mixed case with the title underneath in Arial. Want capitals? Just add ALL CAPS.
4. Collect names and titles in one list
For a small set, type them in the text box when you order, one badge per line. For a big set, a spreadsheet is easier: email it to us after checkout. Check the spelling before you send it, because we engrave exactly what you approve.
5. Send your logo
Vector files (.svg, .ai, .eps or .pdf) engrave cleanest, and a high resolution .png works too. Logos engrave in one color, so simple one-color marks look best. Not sure yours will work? Contact us before you order and we will check it for free.
6. Magnet or pin
Every badge comes with a strong magnetic back, and a pin is the same price. Choose the pin for anyone who wears a pacemaker or works around people who do. You can mix magnets and pins in one set; just note it next to the name.
7. Approve one proof for the whole set
Every team set gets a free digital proof of the whole layout, and nothing is engraved until you approve it. Sets of 5 and 10 usually ship in 2 to 4 business days and sets of 25 in 3 to 5, from our Santa Barbara studio. Shipping is a flat $5.99 within the US.

We keep your layout on file. When someone new starts, send one message with the name and title, and their badge will match the rest of the team.
